Not everything. Only the work where the context, the contribution and the useful residue are clear enough to be worth keeping here.

2026 · Note-taking app

Unicorn

Concept, design and development with AI assistance

I wanted a place to write that was entirely mine: no app subscription, no proprietary formats, just notes saved as plain Markdown files I can open with any editor, today or ten years from now.

The Unicorn landing page, with its mascot and app preview

A Markdown notebook for computers and phones: write, listen and sync with Dropbox or Google Drive.

Context

Unicorn works on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iPhone. Use it in the browser or install it as a web app: with Chrome on computers and Android, or by adding it to the Home Screen through Safari on iPhone. Formatting appears as you type: Markdown symbols are visible only where the cursor is, leaving the rest of the page clean. It includes editable tables, images and PDFs with searchable text, links between notes with a graph view, nested tags, folders with icons and colours, an archive and a trash folder. Tasks have due dates, priorities and reminders, and appointments can be added to your calendar. When your eyes need a break, Unicorn reads the note aloud using the device’s Italian voices, highlighting the current sentence and letting you choose where to resume, the voice and the speed. Word and character goals help you keep a text to length. The Polvere di stelle mode hides the interface, focuses on a sentence or paragraph and keeps the current line centred.

Contribution

Keep everything on your device or sync through your own Dropbox or Google Drive. Unicorn accesses only its own folder. When a phone and computer edit the same note at the same time, changes are merged line by line; if the very same line changes, both versions remain visible. Note history lets you restore earlier versions. The app can lock with Face ID or Touch ID, with a backup PIN. A complete .uni2bk backup includes notes, attachments, images, PDFs, uploaded fonts, OCR text, note history, folders and settings. It is a ZIP archive that also contains readable Markdown files, and can be imported to restore the app. Bear backups and TextBundles can be imported with tags, images and dates preserved. Export options include TXT, Markdown, PDF, DOCX and ePub, alongside formatted copying and a copy option prepared for Substack.

Value

The part I spent the most time on is the part you barely notice: shades of grey, contrast, text weight, and typography adjustable in half-point increments. A writing app proves itself after an hour of reading, not a minute-long demo.

  • Live Markdown formatting and distraction-free writing.
  • Device-based Italian read-aloud with sentence highlighting.
  • Personal Dropbox or Google Drive sync and note history.
  • Complete backups including attachments, versions and settings.
  • Bear import, document export and formatted copying for Substack.
2026 · Text reader

Leggimi

Concept and development with AI assistance

A personal need turned into a practical tool, developed with AI assistance.

Leggimi con un documento nella coda e i controlli di lettura in italiano

A small tool for listening to Markdown and text files in Italian. Open a document or a folder, choose a voice, and press play.

Context

Notes pile up and eyes get tired. I wanted to listen to text files through a simple player without converting each document.

Contribution

I designed the flow and built the reader with AI assistance: local file import, Markdown cleanup, a queue, playback controls and Italian voice selection.

Value

Documents can be read in sequence and resumed from a chosen sentence. The reader runs in the browser and uses the voices exposed by the device.

  • Listen to single files, multiple selections or folders.
  • Adjust speed, pause and choose the next sentence.
  • Local and online voices are clearly identified.
2026 · Zine + editorial site

zine.coffee

Co-author, photography, editorial system and Astro development

A paper object with a digital side entrance.

Editorial preview of the zine.coffee website

Coffee Is Not Dead (Yet) is an independent zine about specialty coffee: paper, voice, photography and a light website that does not try to look more important than the thing it presents.

Context

The risk was simple: taking a physical, lateral, slightly imperfect project and turning it online into yet another polite landing page. The site had to make the zine easier to find without sanding off its voice, paper feeling and character.

Contribution

I worked between idea, content and form: editorial tone, photography, page structure, content architecture and Astro implementation. The technical layer needed to disappear just enough to let the zine stay in front.

Value

The digital presence makes the project easier to read and share without dressing it in something that does not belong to it. People understand what is inside, who is behind it and why it is worth following.

  • The site treats the zine as an editorial object, not as a product with a landing page attached.
  • The structure can grow with issues, articles, credits and practical paths without being rebuilt every time.
  • The tone stays recognizable: clear enough, slightly sideways where it should be.
2026 · Nonsense webapp

Cetriolo

Concept, microcopy and development

Controlled nonsense, a tiny gesture, disproportionate care.

Preview of the Cetriolo webapp

A deliberately useless and therefore suspiciously honest webapp: you click a cucumber, get a sentence, watch a counter go up and for a moment the internet stops taking itself so seriously.

Context

The web is full of tools promising focus, growth, productivity and other things that make you want to close the laptop. Cetriolo starts from the opposite side: it promises nothing, solves nothing and stores nothing important. Precisely for that reason, it had to work well.

Contribution

I built the whole experience: idea, tone, interaction, random lines, animations, daily counter and microcopy. The challenge was treating something stupid with enough precision to make it feel inevitable.

Value

The value is in the disproportion: giving rhythm, memory and identity to a tiny gesture. If something useless stays in your head, maybe it was not completely useless after all.

  • Click, read, count, start again. A mechanism reduced to the bone.
  • An absurd but controlled tone.
  • A daily reset at 23:59, because even nonsense deserves discipline.
  • A small, memorable project cared for more than strictly necessary.
